On appeasement: It is quite simple. Feeding wild animals does not make them friendly, it makes them stronger. Howard Newman

למדינה פלסטינית מפורזת, לעולם לא יסכימו הפלסטינים, למדינה פלסטינית מזויינת, לעולם לא תסכים ישראל!  אהוד בן עזר

There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn't true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true - Danish philosopher Soren Kierkegaard 1813-1855

A MUST READ - DO NOT MISS A SINGLE WORD

A Must-Read!

Don’t miss a single word!

The breathtaking speech of Israel’s representative to the UN, Miriam Novak, at the special session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, convened at the request of leaders of the European Union and the new Arab bloc:

As you know, for two thousand years, we lived among you, offering you our knowledge, discoveries, and inventions.

Eighty years ago, Europe, led by Germany, carried out an ethnic cleansing—destroying almost all of the Jews who lived there. The French, Belgians, Dutch, Norwegians, Hungarians, Slovaks, Poles, Lithuanians, Ukrainians—all helped the fascists.

You killed at least six million Jews, including babies. Each one of them could have brought children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren into the world. So you can multiply the number of murdered by four or five.

And now, when Jews are again being looted, beaten, and killed in all your countries, and your courts release the murderers—you tell us we have no right to defend ourselves? No right to warn our enemies that we will respond to a new ethnic cleansing with an even stronger blow?

Can you name another nation whose destruction is so eagerly sought by your new international community, led by Iran? …And why?

For two thousand years, we lived among you, offering our knowledge, discoveries, and inventions. We gave you the alphabet, the Bible, the Virgin Mary, Jesus, the twelve apostles, Spinoza, Disraeli, Columbus, Newton, Nostradamus, Heine, Mendelssohn, Einstein, Simmel, Eisenstein, Freud, Landau, Gershwin, Offenbach, Rubinstein, Saint-Saëns, Kafka, Lombroso, Montaigne, Mahler, Marcel Marceau, Vsevolod Meyerhold, Yehudi Menuhin, Stefan Zweig, Arthur Miller, Maya Plisetskaya, Stanley Kubrick, Irving Berlin, Edward Teller, Aryeh Feuchtwanger, Paul Newman, Robert Oppenheimer, Benny Goodman, Eugène Ionesco, Imre Kálmán, Marcel Proust, Marc Chagall, Barbra Streisand, Claude Lelouch, Steven Spielberg, Anouk Aimée, Leonard Bernstein, Norbert Wiener, Larry Page, Mark Zuckerberg, Sergey Brin, Andrew Lloyd Webber—and thousands more scientists and educators.

Just imagine how many more such geniuses could have been born from the millions of Jews you killed—and from their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren!

But the unborn geniuses vanished forever in the crematoria, in the synagogues you burned, and in the mass graves.

So do you really think your resolutions, boycotts, and sanctions can send us back to the gas chambers?

No, Ladies and Gentlemen!

After living among you for two thousand years, we had to adapt to you—not only learning your languages but also aspects of your psychology.

Otherwise, how would we have survived in Persia without Persian betrayal?

In Spain without Spanish cruelty?

In Germany without German obedience to authority?

In France without French greed?

In Poland without Polish arrogance?

In Russia without the Russian habits of courts where you must crawl and talk about spiritual greatness? — (Laughter in the hall)

So let me be honest with you: No, we’re not angels. Among us, there have been crooks and international gangsters—Lansky, Madoff, Epstein—thieves, looters, adventurers, and even pedophiles.

But throughout our shared history, there was never a Jewish Bohdan Khmelnytsky, Adolf Hitler, or Joseph Stalin.

There was never a Jewish Josef Mengele or Erich Koch, Adolf Eichmann, Idi Amin, Andrei Chikatilo, Li Zicheng, Jeffrey Dahmer, Jean-Bédel Bokassa, Fritz Haarmann, Ted Bundy, Nikolai Dzhumagaliev, or Albert Fish.

We never made necklaces from human ears.

We never scalped people.

We never ate human flesh.

We never made soap from human fat.

We never made lampshades from human skin.

We never made mattresses from women’s hair.

We never burned people in houses of worship.

We never killed children in gas chambers.

Instead, we created things that changed the world for the better:

Drip irrigation, seawater desalination, Intel processors and Centrino and Core Duo platforms, the world’s smallest DNA computer and the first USB flash drive, the nanowire and capsule camera, the multiple sclerosis treatment and the exoskeleton.

Google Glass for the blind and a breathing monitor for babies, radar that sees through walls, synthetic holographic reality, AI synthesizers, and hundreds of other wonders.

We make up just 0.2% of the world population, yet we’ve given the world 32% of Nobel Prize winners.

Oh, and I forgot to mention:

We never used Christian babies’ blood to bake matzah. Already in 1913, three ultra-Orthodox Jewish scholars disproved this during the famous Beilis trial in Kyiv.

In 1962, the Second Vatican Council removed the charge of deicide from the Jews.

In 2011, Pope Benedict XVI declared:

“A Christian cannot be an antisemite; we have the same roots.”

In 2019, his successor, Pope Francis I, said:

“Every Christian has a Jew inside him,” and “One cannot be a true Christian without recognizing his Jewish roots.”

He also stated:

“The covenant between God and the Jewish people still exists,”

and “Anti-Semitism includes not only attacks on Jews, but also criticism of Israel.”

Finally, in June 2020, Pastor John Hagee, leader of American evangelical Christians, published a global call declaring plainly:

“Why do we, eight million patriotic American Christians, support Israel?

Because God is on Israel’s side!”

He said:

“If a Christian says he doesn’t like Jews, then his Christianity is fake.”

God says: “I will bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse her.”

And now I ask the European representatives present in this hall:

Who do you think you are?

Are you Christians or not?

When you pray to Jesus Christ, the Virgin Mary, and the holy apostles—aren’t you praying to Jews?

And when you say you carry the image of Jesus in your heart—aren’t you admitting that you carry a Jew in your soul?

Even if you’re a faithful atheist—your ancestors were Christians for two thousand years.

So Judaism is in your blood—whether you like it or not!

So, Ladies and Gentlemen,

If you insist on an international boycott of Israel because you still hate Jews and wish to see us completely annihilated from the face of the earth—then be consistent:

Start with yourselves. Commit seppuku [a form of ritual suicide].

That would be an honest ethnic cleansing.

And now, as they say here in America, I’ve got news for you:

After the Christians, it’s time for the Muslims to rid themselves of anti-Semitism.

Yes, it won’t be easy, but just as the Holy One, blessed be He, helped humanity get rid of the plague, anthrax, cholera, and COVID—He will help you get rid of anti-Semitism.

You ask: Why?

Why did God bring us back to our land and force you to abandon your desire to destroy us?

Because He must have a purpose, right?

I’ll tell you my personal opinion:

According to our divine tradition, every nation must contribute to humanity in what it does best:

The French—cooking and perfumes.

The English and Russians—poetry and literature.

The Italians—art and music.

The Germans—soldiers and philosophers.

And we, the Jews—genius in every field, leading humanity from barbarism and idolatry toward culture, humanism, and technological progress.

That is our mission. And we’ve been fulfilling it for two thousand years—despite everything!

So whether we have genetic, nuclear, tectonic, cosmic, or other types of defensive weapons—it’s none of your business.

Whether you allow us to possess defensive weapons or not—it makes no difference to us.

One of the founders of our state, Ze’ev Jabotinsky, once said:

“Whether you like it or not—it doesn’t really matter to us.

We came before you, and we’ll be here after you.”
