Suddenly, after Israel's attack against Hamas in Gaza, thousands and thousands of antisemitic Muslims, and non-Muslims' useful idiots in America and Europe, began to shout that Israel is committing genocide.
Probably, 99.99% of them have absolutely no knowledge on the issue. They do not know when genocide is perpetrated during a war.
So, let's put some light on this topic.
The Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (CPPCG), or the Genocide Convention, is an international treaty that criminalizes genocide and obligates state parties to pursue the enforcement of its prohibition. It was the first legal instrument to codify genocide as a crime, and the first human rights treaty unanimously adopted by the United Nations General Assembly, on 9 December 1948, during the third session of the United Nations General Assembly. The Convention entered into force on 12 January 1951 and has 152 state parties as of 2022.
The Genocide Convention was conceived largely in response to World War II, which saw atrocities such as the Holocaust that lacked an adequate description or legal definition.
Definition of genocide
Article 2 of the Convention defines genocide as any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group, as such (Article 2):
(a) Killing members of the group;
(b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
(c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;
(d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;
(e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.
Article 3 defines the crimes that can be punished under the convention:
(a) Genocide;
(b) Conspiracy to commit genocide;
(c) Direct and public incitement to commit genocide;
(d) Attempt to commit genocide;
So, according to the above definitions, all the wars inflicted on Israel by arab countries and/or terrorist's organizations, were in fact, genocidal wars in which they tried to eliminate the Jewish State and kill as many Jews as they could. And this includes, of course, the attack Hamas perpetrated against Israel on October 7th 2023. A savage attack of unspeakable cruelty.
All those anti-Semites who are chanting "From the (Jordan) river to the (Mediterranean) sea, Palestine will be free", are perpetrating a genocidal crime of "Direct and public incitement to commit genocide", according to article 3 of The Genocide Convention, because the meaning of this phrase, as everyone knows, is the elimination of the State of Israel and the killing of all the Jews inside it.
I hope that "Incitement to commit genocide" is not included in America's 1st Amendment's Freedom of Speech.
Because, if it is, America is committing a genocidal crime as well. The crime of complicity with the genocidal crime of incitement to commit genocide!!!
And now, while Israel's army is fighting these savages, many people is saying Israel is commiting genocide. Is it?
The Geneva Convention requires combatants of all sides in an armed conflict to wear uniforms and to build military bases away from civilian centers. That is so that the opposing side will be able to distinguish between a combatant and a civilian in battle. But what is to be done when one side (in this case, the Hamas) decides to disregard international law and fight from within population centers, while wearing civilian clothes?
This is particularly true when we know that the vast majority of the potential collateral casualties are not “innocent civilians”, but rather civilians who provide the terrorists with support out of absolute identification with them.
Since the beginning, when they go to a kindergarten, children in Gaza are taught to hate Jews and become jihadists. This "education" goes on during all their lives, in madrasas and mosques. So, there are indeed civilians in Gaza but there are not "innocent civilians".
